WWII's non-Triumph of the Will-ful scientist : Norden bombsights , Atomic radiation and Synthetic penicillin

If Man's mental Will inevitably Triumphs over Nature, WWII is no place to offer proof :

For example , Mother Nature's salmon, eels, butterflies , swallows et al seem to navigate great distances far far more accurately than WWII pilots using Newtonian physics' Radar and Norden Bombsights.

Similarly, bacterial horizontal gene transfer seemed to be miles more gentle and sophisticated than Darwinian biology's brute force use of mass atomic radiation mutations when trying to generate eugenic uplift, as among the penicillium.

And the penicillium fungi themselves proved far, far better at frugally but precisely manufacturing penicillin than the biggest human factories using the best of Daltonian chemistry.

WWII : Human Hubris 0 , Mother Nature 3 .....
